Skin Game

Giveaway!

Just wanted to share the new ad for my evil conjoined erotica-writing twin Cara McKenna's upcoming release, Skin Game. It's sort of a weird mix of Lost and Survivor and the Stanford Prison Experiment, plus a bunch of nasty outdoor sex crammed into a hefty, extra-long ebook package. It's out next Friday, but I'll be busy at the RWA New England Chapter's annual conference (go NEC!) all weekend, so forgive the advance BSP. Click on the ad if you want more info!

And why not, how about a giveaway? Leave a comment before noon EST on Thursday, April 28, and I'll pick a random winner to receive the book the day it comes out! Go ahead, go nuts.

  4. Oooh, this sounds like it could be my next "so bad it's good" guilty pleasure book! And I love the cover...pitch black and sparkly. Mm, mm! Let the games begin! :)

  5. Oh me, me, me... I'm always up for a Cara McKenna book.

Also, there is a book by the same name by Ava Gray. You should read it. I have never read a romance that was so totally shades-of-gray. And now I think I'll re-read that book now until yours comes out.

  7. Hey everyone! Thanks for entering.

Pallavi—I haven't read any Ava Gray yet, but after I fell in love with the title (found it Roget's under "trickery" I believe) I saw that she'd snagged it first! Isn't that always the way? The original name of my book was The Ant Farm, but as my genius editor pointed out, only entomologists would find that title alluring.

  15. One of the most intriguing book descriptions/reader advisory I have ever seen. How can I resist?!?

  16. I think I would've liked the Ant farm :p
Skin Game is a cool title too though. Oh and Ava Gray is also known as Ann Aguirre, so maybe you've read something of her after all.

    Consider me entered!

  17. Oh ho! I haven't read any Anne Aguirre yet either, Jan, but thanks for enlightening me! And my TBR author list grows ever longer…

  18. I wouldn't mind reading another Cara McKenna book. This story sounds real interesting, and by interesting, I mean, it's in my corner of the world. I used to live in Alaska, and miss it terribly and still do after having to move to the lower 48's. So reading this book should put me back in a good mood and not so melancholy about missing my neck of the woods. But even if I don't win this book, this one will be on my TBR list. I can't wait to submerse myself! compkatthewriter at hotmail dot com.

  19. I’m planning to be one of those who bought the Farm but free, well free is one of those good four letter words. Somebody must really like Ms. Cara McKenna because that is one mightily attractive cover, probably the best one I’ve seen from Ellora’s Cave. ldstcd at gmail dot com.

  20. I'm on a book-buying moratorium, because I have about 200 titles on my Kindle. There are a handful of OMG MUST HAVE IT NOW authors I get to buy despite the moratorium, and you are one of them. But you knew that. Nonetheless, I'm up for pretending to maintain my virtue by hoping for a free copy.

  22. Just discovered that Meg/Cara are two sides of the same coin! The mailman brought "Caught on Camera" to me today -- I ordered it following a big rave from a friend. Then realised that I owned a couple of Cara McKenna books from EC, but with no idea the two were connected!

(Awesome website design by the way...)
